Enemies simply use their skills. There is a command menu for each character that looks like this: |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯| Each character has differing skills and a | SPECL | special option. The single guard downstairs is a bit harder apparently, so inflict Diabetes to make up for the times when attacks miss. #3 - Find Rufus First, y'must have read the note in the SW corner to learn about "Rufus". Talk to a suit in front of Allard's office door to learn Rufus has been put on tunnel duty. Anyway, Rufus is the suit in the downstairs tunnel right outside the savepoint. The Palladium Orb Scepter is needed to gain access to his quarters, however. The cave south of the rubble, blocked by a boulder, contains that very item. He says that Rutherford is trying to kill Yelmirb and he'll give the [ORB SCEPTER] over if Barkley slams him. Say y'will and return to "Raffleson's" house. Running'll just spontaneously sugarify you. Also, try to stay on the dirty path away from the "sugardrifts," for good measure. Luckily, the path is rather straightforward. A small cave-in will send a gust of sugar flying down the path; back up and let its flurry pass. Further on, a shadow will move across a bridge. Follow it until a white soda can (?) figure runs away. This time, take the long u-shaped path around instead of the quick way (unless you wanna dieeeeee). Keep going west until a sudden vision of sugar (LOL?) happens. Reginald cannot be heavily damaged until the red aura around him dissipates; even then magical-type abilities and skills do pitiful damage. Stick with physical hits and strikes, while Cyberdwarf plays the role of item healer. "Chromatic Orb Lv119" inflicts multiple stat-down effects with a small 100-dmg tag; beware its use in the early going! --- The [IMMACULATE ROD] is received afterwards. "Glomp" is single-target damage (~200), while its got a three-strike physical attack (~100/per) that someone can suffer through. "Spontaneous Sugarfication" does about 5000dmg to a target, which is massive overkill -- still kinda funny. Revive that guy and continue with the normal slaughtering. --- It drops a [POLESHAFT] after it dissolves (pun?). Feeding Barkley BP+ items now and then, he just used Doubleteam the whole fight, while Cyberdwarf used Dwarf Caress and his powerful punches when needed. Prepare before going and it's blast-off... _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ 14) NECRON 5 [WK14] _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ The pump will ask Hoopz some questions before saving is possible. BOSS: Jordan HP: ~2400 EXP: 1534 NS: 389 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Make sure the H/S Ball is equipped before coming into this battle. If you did the Chup Mines sidequest and got the Shrekmono, most of Jordan's attacks will be doing a lot less damage than one'd expect. Use Ghost Muscle + Doubleteam to expedite, and heal when needed (watch out for "H-H-Head Shot," which may be the best move ever invented...just see it). Still got "Defy Clispaeth," although it won't do him much good here. Sucka MCs must diyeeeeeee~! --- Afterwards, if you try to leave, Cyberdwarf suggests using the Dimension Whistle Juwanna gave to the party. _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ 15) B-BALL DIMENSION [OPTIONAL] [WK15] _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Carmelo Anthony, the hoopster by the pump, will teleport everyone outta this place, but be warned: there's no coming back. Cyberdwarf is the one who hasn't felt a woman's touch in a long time. He only likes "applebottoms," apparently. The WNBA's Ivory Latta will be the only suitable match, apparently. They go into the backroom to get to know each other better. Choose the following replies in order to, uh, win this...uh, thing. • That's a pretty name, Ivory • What are some of your interests? • What books do you like? • I also read romance novels. • I think you doubt yourself. • I don't think so. • That...that was amazing. Latta should bring C'dwarf out into the fresh air (does that exist here??) • It's...beautiful. • What do you usually think about? They should kiss and Cyberdwarf should get the [TUPPERWARE ARMOR] and...also, an [IVORY'S BROMIDE]. _____________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ B-BALL FARM SIMULATOR _____________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ What may be the funniest take on Chocobo breeding, Barkley can raise his own pet b-ball. BOSS: Blood Ghoul HP: ~200 EXP: 351 NS: 71 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ The H/S Ball eviscerates chaff like this. BOSS: Delmon Master HP: ~1000 EXP: 372 NS: 75 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Still pretty easy, but a step up in difficulty...slightly. Even at only Lv12 Barkley will probably three times faster than this sucker. In fact, he will suicide himself with "Flamesplosion," probably in awe of Barkley's talented abilities. Make sure to heal your HP/BP before moving onto the champion... BOSS: Kevin Garnett HP: ~1500 EXP: 355 NS: 71 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ "Dipsy Doo Dunkaroo" can inflict damage and Guard -25 (!?), which should not matter too much -- Barkley is clearly faster and can sink his teeth in, even with simple Forward Jumpers. Watch out for the "Dojo Kick" which can do 200+, if it even comes to that. The final prize? A [MITHRIL JERSEY]! _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ 16) NECRON 5 [WK16] _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ After leaving the B-Ball Dimension, it's back to the desolate court again... Head north from the arrival point and when you meet the "shadowy figure," the choice to join or refuse him comes up. Make sure to refuse or it's game over! BOSS: Shadow Barkley HP: ~2000 EXP: 4 NS: 4 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Haha, by far one of the funniest boss sprites...eat it, FF7! "Plague Needle" will inflict Diabetes/Glaucoma on everyone. "Verboten Jam" will probably kill whoever it hits, even if you use multiple Muscle Zaubers. "Moon Regeneration" will refill HP (~560) and heal ailments; just recast 'em when this happens. "Shadow Lightning" deals about 100dmg/per hit in a scattershot fashion. "Dark Vortex" does about 200 to a single target... Use Insulin Shot when the time arises, and use Water Zauber to inflict both Glaucoma & Diabetes on the boss. Cyberdwarf should keep his BP up and Dwarf Caress when the hurt is put on. Sir Charles should just use Doubleteam every turn, while someone feeds him items. I mean, this is the last battle -- why save the inventory? Make sure to Ghost Muscle beforehand, and keep hitting it with Diabetes for an extra 147 or so damage per turn. But that ain't all! BOSS: T-Rex Barkley HP: ~3000 EXP: 4 NS: 4 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Haha... "Chomp Chomp Yum Yum" drains as much damage as it inflicts, usually about 400. "Dinosaur Spit" heavily lowers the four main stats on a single character. "Doomfire Death" inflicts 9999dmg on two random targets...! "Tail Whip" hits thrice on one target and "Flamehell" does about 250-300 to all targets. This battle is most annoying because of the draining skill. Barkley should once again Ghost Muscle + Doubleteam, while Muscle/Flame Zauber is put into effect (Zeta Slash may help as well for reducing its turn rate). Cyberdwarf will find much use for his "Caress" ability, and young master Hoopz is mostly relegated to item-thrower due to his great speed. Hoopz should also use his 100% Dodge ability, because this is a free evade that's stored for the next time he's attacked (even if he does things inbetween!). Snail Zauber will be of use, too, if you have it. _________ _______ _______ _ ______ _ \__ __/|\ /|( ____ \ ( ____ \( ( /|( __ \ ( ) ) ( | ) ( || ( \/ | ( \/| \ ( || ( \ )| | | | | (___) || (__ | (__ | \ | || | ) || | | | | ___ || __) | __) | (\ \) || | | || | | | | ( ) || ( | ( | | \ || | ) |(_) | | | ) ( || (____/\ | (____/\| ) \ || (__/ ) _ )_( |/ \|(_______/ (_______/|/ )_)(______/ (_) Enjoy the ending and Victorian Steampunk Mode! _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ 17) APPENDICES [APND] _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ This section looks like crap 'cause I can't really fit the tables around like I want to. [A] - Talk to the chatterbox gas pumps around the towns & dungeons [Q] - I can't figure out how to do this (Attack) skill right! [A] - Press left/right to see the base accuracy and method for performing it. [Q] - Hey, Cyberdwarf's finishers are raising the target's stats!!!! [A] - The version of the game yer playing is outdated. That has been fixed. :p [Q] - How do I get all the Library cards / Cuchulainn's Key? [A] - You don't. They don't exist. This is supposed to be an in-joke, I think, and has been debunked by the creators on a few sites. [Q] - In Necron 5, how do I open the door that needs the Cuchulainn's Tomb Key? [A] - The key doesn't seem to exist -- another joke at our expense. =( [Q] - What is Victorian Steampunk mode? [A] - The game takes a funny twist, with some characters being renamed, their portraits being changed (Hoopz now looks like a neathdrathal, for one), and there's a generally more "proper" feel to the people. The Ultimate Hellbane becomes "Supreme Cogblight," and there's other britishisms to find, haha. Nothing carries over (item, money, etc.) though. [Q] - I heard there's a "Hell" area in this game? [A] - Yes, there is...the Deathtemple. To gain access to it, y'must be a complete jerkwad all throughout the game. The noted instances are the following: - In Neo New York City, do not give kid by church any neo-shekels - In NNYC Sewers, do not give slacker outside of Allard's office any $$$ - In Proto NNYC, do not apologize to Wildman (next door to Juwanna Mann) - Do not give the Poleshaft to Octavius Steambrast on Liberty Island - In the B-Ball Dimension, do not spot Dick Vitale any money Being nice to any of these five people prevents access to Hell. To get to that hot location, complete the requirements and die; instead of going to the game over screen, Barkley winds up there. [Q] - Who is Hiratio? [A] - He's in a series of potato games at gzstorm.com _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ 19) UPDATES & THANKS [UPDT] _______________________________________________________________________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ 02-01-08 ------------------------+ Started this rollercoaster ride 02-04-08 ------------------------+ Added to GameFAQs 03-12-08 ------------------------+ Error corrections __________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ITEMS TO HELP WITH __________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - List of requirements to get into "Hell" - Any special skills I missed because I didn't power-level [etc.] __________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ MUCH OBLIGED TO... __________________ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - Sir Charles himself - The people who put their time into making this game, or helped in creation.
